The Linux System Administrator's Guide

Abstract:

This is a manual and tutorial for keeping a Linux system up and running. This version is not finished, but the finished version is supposed to cover all the central topics except networking (for which see the Linux Network Administrators' Guide). This manual does not try to be a reference manual, or a manual to all the different programs that a system administrator might use. Separate documentation (such as man pages) exist for those.
