From the autumn of 1995. the Taszár airbase is used by the logistic units of the American IFOR contingent. So a part of the Hungarian MiG-21s based at Taszár was moved to Pápa airforce base and the pilots performed training flights there. The readiness service at Taszár was suspended for a while. In the summer of 1996. all of the MiG-21s which were able to fly were moved to Pápa and the Taszár units go on with their readiness and training flights from there.
